Hampshire's air ambulance landed on fields next to the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham last Friday after a “medical incident” in the university’s halls of residence, the emergency services have revealed.
Two road ambulances, a paramedic, and a fire engine also responded to the 999 call at 3.10pm on November 3. The fire service confirmed it helped “extricate an individual from the university campus who needed medical attention”.
And South East Coast Ambulance Service added one person was “assessed and treated” before being taken to hospital by road for further checks.
The current condition of the patient was not disclosed.
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance responded to the incident as the Kent Surrey Sussex air ambulance crews were fully committed elsewhere.
UCA Farnham has declined to comment on the incident.
