Mystery surrounds an apparent assault in the Farnham station car park before Christmas.
The attack was captured on the station's CCTV in the early hours of Saturday, December 16 but neither the victim or any witnesses have come forward.
British Transport Police say between 12.15am and 12.30am, an unknown individual approached a car in the lower level of the Station Approach car park.
"They knocked on the driver’s window, before the person in the car opened the door," said a police spokesperson.
"The unknown individual then grabbed the driver around the throat, before the car door slammed closed and the car was driven away."
The alleged attacker is described as being a white man of slim build with dark short hair, wearing a dark jacket.
The victim or any witnesses are asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, with reference 28 of 16/12/23.
Information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
