AFFORDABLE housing plans for Wey Hill’s Youth Campus were up for discussion as Waverley Borough Council’s head of major projects Kelvin Mills, housing head Andrew Smith and housing manager Louisa Blundell attended a public display at Haslewey on October 23.

A Waverley spokesman said: “The event was well-attended. Feedback supports the council’s intention to increase affordable housing locally by redeveloping this site. We are continuing to consult with organisations that currently occupy the site. We will take comments into consideration when finalising the planning application. As yet, no date has been set for submission.”
