It's not often our hard-working GPs get a pat on the back these days, but one such patient in Liphook felt the need to give his doctor some credit this week...
Garth Gunston said: “After five weeks of nasty unexplained pain in the same area of both shoulders, I rang our usual Station Road Surgery in Liphook early one morning.
“I was given an appointment and blood test at the sister Village Surgery at 12.40pm, was diagnosed and a prescription issued at 4pm at the third surgery in the group at Liss, and this was available at 5pm where I started at Station Road seven hours earlier.
“Miracles do happen – two days later I am already improving.”
Liphook and Liss Surgery merged with Petersfield’s Swan Medical Group last April.
