A KEBAB van parked in Lion Lane was given permission to trade for another year, despite objections from residents.

Owner Mehmet Akif Dengiz asked to renew his licence to sell kebabs, chips and burgers from his van parked near a children's play area at Lion Lane until 11pm.

He was given permission to sell hot food on the restricted road last year, but people who live nearby said the owner broke the licence terms by staying open later than agreed and not sticking to his agreed pitch.
