A relaxed coffee morning for people interested in volunteering at Gilbert White’s House and Gardens in Selborne is being held there on February 16 from 10.30am to midday.
A spokesperson said: “Volunteers are the backbone of our organisation, playing a crucial role in preserving and sharing the legacy of Gilbert White, the pioneering naturalist, and his picturesque home and gardens.
“By joining us as a volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while immersing yourself in the beauty and history of this remarkable place.”
There are roles for people who want to work with visitors, help with events or tend the gardens.
Volunteers receive exclusive perks, including discounts in the gift shops, special events, and more. Anyone who cannot make the coffee morning should call 01420 511275 or email [email protected]
