Liphook Carnival Fun Day will return next month with something for everyone.

The event will run on Saturday, June 1 at the Millennium Green from noon until late evening. The lucky chosen royals who will be queen and princess of the carnival procession will be announced at 4pm.

There will be a fun fair, games, a fire engine and face painting for families with live music, food and a licensed bar for the adults. Various stalls will be at the event to browse through with organisers still looking for more stallholders to sign up.

Carnival chair Dianne Heath said: “From my first visit 50 years ago, I always look forward to Liphook Carnival every year. 

“We are very fortunate to still have an annual Carnival, as so many have disappeared.”

The event is cash only but entry is free.
