Waverley Borough Council are offering you the opportunity to follow in Team GB’s youngest medal winners’ footsteps by offering free opportunities for young people to be coached by the pros, watch demonstrations and show off their new tricks.

The event take place across Waverley with locations in Farnham, Haslemere and Godalming

Skate Waverley on Wednesday, May 29 and Thursday 30 is an event for young people of all skill levels and there will be a selection of safety equipment and skateboards that will be provided free for use on the day.

There are two types of workshops a beginner and a developer workshop. The beginner is for skaters learning the basics of riding.

The Developer workshop is for more advanced skaters who are comfortable with the basics and they will learn tricks like shuv-its and ollies.

Those under 16 will need parental consent before attending.
