HASLEMERE Charter Walk Kitchen Living company has served up a real treat for the staff at Grayswood Primary School.

Company managing director Ben Gane presented the school with a new kitchen for the staff room, after seeing the facilities were in serious need of a makeover on a visit.

Charter Walk Kitchen Living, which opened its Haslemere showroom nearly two years ago, not only generously donated a new kitchen to replace the rather dilapidated one staff were using but also carried out the work free of charge.

Mr Gane oversaw the project and organised extra electrical and plumbing work to ensure that the new kitchen had the luxury of a dishwasher, a built-in microwave, integrated bins and a boiling tap.

The facility was in place just in time to welcome Grayswood Primary School’s new executive headteacher, Ruth Worswick, who joined at the start of this term.

Ms Worswick said: “We are all extremely grateful to Charter Walk for this wonderful addition to the school.”
