Christmas will come early this weekend as a seasonal extravaganza in Petersfield town centre is being extended.
This year’s Petersfield Christmas Festival will start earlier than usual with food and music being served up to shoppers and revellers from 7pm to 9pm this Saturday.
A further highlight will be a RMW Charity Tractor Run preview with the agricultural cavalcade being lit up with festive lights in aid of charity. The festive fun will continue the next day with the High Street and Square being taken over by more than 100 stalls.
Expect another awesome programme of entertainment, lashings of mulled wine and delicious street food along with a live nativity petting zoo and fun rides. There will also be a fancy dress competition at 12.45pm, a Santa Parade at 3.30pm and performances from the Herne Brass Band, Salvation ArmyAnd Liss Band among many others.
