CAMELSDALE Primary School hosted 24 headteachers from the Far East as part of its international school links programme, run in association with Bohunt Education Trust and UK China Education.
Year 6 pupils conducted a guided tour and Chinese visitors met students across all year groups.
Headteacher Sarah Palmer said: “We were delighted to host our Chinese visitors. We introduced them to the national school curriculum, explained how our school fits into the Rother Valley group of schools, and introduced them to daily life in a UK primary school.”
She added: “Some of our Year 6 pupils will take part in Bohunt’s Mandarin programme when they go to secondary school.
“We are also hosting ten Chinese children in July for a week who will be staying with a number of our families.”
