Year 6 pupils at St Ives School organised a lunch for some important guests.
Haslemere mayor Councillor Jacquie Keen, representatives from the Royal Society of St George, some St Ives parents, governors and senior members of St Ives staff attended the lunch.
Kay Goldsworthy, headteacher at St Ives School, said: “This was a fantastic learning opportunity for the children and one in which they excelled. The school dining room looked fantastic, the food was delicious and all the guests seemed to have a lovely time. I was thrilled to see how well the children coped with the task.”
