Haslemere High Street saw footfall of the four-legged variety when a group of farm animals visited the town’s museum.

Families had the chance to pet, groom and feed the animals in the museum’s garden. Children also got to hold some friendly guinea pigs and baby rabbits.

The animals were brought to town by Mill Cottage Farm Experience, a mobile educational farm from Alton.

The museum also put on some art and crafts activities with a farm animal theme.

Education officer Kay Topping said: “We’re so lucky to have large gardens which local people can enjoy.”
