AN EAST Hampshire group that supports people with memory impairment has made a noteworthy performance at a Christmas lights switch-on.
Around 15 members of Singing for the Mind (Bordon) were in fine tune at their debut Christmas performance in Grayshott.
The singers lit up proceedings with their renditions of Little Donkey, Mistletoe & wine and Calypso Carol with organisers Grayshott Parish Council hailing the “brilliant” choir.
The group run by Right at Home Alton and Bordon meets every Monday at 10.45am at The Beehive in Hogmoor Inclosure.
The “friendly and active group” was launched in 2022 for people with memory impairment and those who support them and welcomes new members.
“The group is quite new, so this was our first Christmas performance,” said Claire Skilton, registered manager.
“We’d love to see more people joining us in 2024 so please do feel free to come along – everybody is welcome.”
