Liphook Fire Station’s crew are holding a charity ball at Old Thorns Country Hotel, at Griggs Green, for the second-year running.

Next month’s black tie event will help raise money for the Fire Fighters Charity, which is almost entirely funded through donations from the fire community and the public, supporting more than 5,000 beneficiaries a year through a broad range of services, addressing individual needs.

The event on Friday, May 12, starts at 7.30pm, features a three-course banquet, a live band and a DJ. Tickets cost £35 per person. To book call (01428) 725840.
