New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to six of Waverley’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

• Rated 5: PGL at Marchants Hill, Tilford Road, Hindhead, Surrey; rated on February 8

• Rated 5: Caffe Piccolo at 84 West Street, Farnham, Surrey; rated on January 31

• Rated 5: Harris & Hoole at 113b West Street, Farnham, Surrey; rated on January 31

• Rated 5: The Fintry Trust at Fintry, Church Lane, Brook, Godalming; rated on January 29

• Rated 3: THE CORDON at 145 High Street, Godalming, Surrey; rated on January 16

It means that of Waverley's 196 similar establishments with ratings, 135 (69%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
