FAMILIES made the most of the programme of half term activity sessions put on at Haslemere Museum last week.

More than 50 people enjoyed making masks and musical instruments to celebrate Mardi Gras. Later in the week, the hippo themed craft session and the LEGO challenge were both sold out.

As well as attending the activities, families also made the most of the opportunity to look round the museum’s child-friendly galleries and gardens to learn about natural history, human history and geology.

The museum’s Easter holiday activity will be bookable on its website in early March.
