A dream to make a village near Bordon one of the greenest communities in Hampshire will be outlined this Tuesday evening (February 18).

Residents can learn more about the Headley Village Greening Campaign during a public meeting in All Saints Church Centre from 8pm.

Headley is among a select group of villages around Hampshire that is taking part in a scheme that aims to improve the local environment while building resilience against the effects of climate change.

The Greening Campaign – which has been endorsed by Headley Parish Council, Fullers Vale Wildlife Group and HeadleyCAN – will co-ordinate initiatives in Headley and Headley Down.

The lottery fund supported-initiative will include projects focused on energy, wildlife, food production, health and waste prevention with professional bodies offering help, advice and expertise.
