PART of the BBC’s Top Gear track was the route for the 400 runners competing in the sixth annual 10k Jigsaw Run, at Dunsfold Park.
The Jigsaw Trust, which supports children and young adults with an autism spectrum disorder, was supported by Surrey-based independent financial advisors, Informed Choice, in sponsoring and organising the charitable run.
Jigsaw patron and Eagle Radio presenter Kim Robson officially started the event, which took in two laps of Dunsfold Park’s perimeter road and runway past the resident Boeing 747 seen on the BBC’s flagship motoring show.
The winners (pictured) were Christopher Peck – first male home in 33mins and 31secs – while Ali Guihen was first female finisher in 39mins 36secs.
Jigsaw’s events fundraiser Sally Ward said: “Year on year, the Jigsaw Run is getting bigger and better and it wouldn’t be the success it is now without the help and support of our sponsors, volunteers and, of course, each and every person who takes part on the day.”
