Summer might be fading fast, but for parents it is already time to think ahead to the upcoming half-term break. Haslemere Museum offers a fantastic range of activities to help keep children entertained.

This summer, the museum hosted hundreds of kids at craft sessions, outdoor theatre, farm animal encounters, and a teddy bears’ picnic. Many activities are tailored for primary-age children, with options for family involvement and some that allow kids to attend unaccompanied.

Attending museum events has the added bonus of contributing to the museum’s fundraising, which is vital in order for it to keep its doors open.

This autumn half-term, families can enjoy a vibrant Indian ‘Kathakali’ dance and drama show, followed by a Halloween activity and spooky procession through town. The week culminates in a spectacular fireworks and bonfire evening, featuring food from the scouts and live music from Haslemere Rock Choir.
