Human bones have been found in a Farnham churchyard, prompting police to put a cordon around the site.
Police were called to St Andrew’s church on Upper Church Lane in Farnham on Friday morning (August 9) at around 11:46 am, following the discovery of unidentified human bones at the location.
The Surry force said their inquiries were ongoing as the age of the bones had yet to be determined, and a cordon had been put in place around the churchyard while investigations continued.
There was no detail given of the exact location of the discovery, nor of the age of the bones.
