FRENSHAM Pond Sailability is one of the most successful Sailability clubs in the country.

Sailors from the club, based at Frensham Great Pond, are among the British, European and World Champions in their classes.

But now the club is on the lookout for new talent.

Young people aged 10 and upwards who have a disability or long-term illness and would like to participate in an outdoor sport can learn to sail at Frensham.

The club’s annual Youth Fun Day is being held on Wednesday, August 22, at Frensham Pond Sailing Club, from 9.30am to 2.30pm.

This is an opportunity to try this sport with full supervision and support.

It is a morning full of games and activities with fun for all.

Those interested should bring a packed lunch and a change of clothes (just in case!).

The charge for the day is £5 and everyone interested in coming should email [email protected] as early as possible as spaces are limited.
