Drivers on the A3 through Waverley and East Hampshire will have six lane closures to watch out for this week.
And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• A3, from 8pm on September 25, 2021, to 6am July 9, 2022, causing moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 northbound and southbound, Hogs Back to Thursley, carriageway, slip road and lane closures for technology works, diversion via local authority network.
• A3, from 8pm May 27 to 6am May 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound and southbound, Horndean to Weston, Lane closure for barrier works.
And a further three closures will begin over the next seven days:
• A3, from 8pm May 31 to 6am June 1, causing slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound and southbound, Milford to Hindhead, Lane closure for barrier works.
• A3, from 9am to 4pm on June 8, causing slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Hazel Grove to Knockhundred Lane Bramshott Chase, diversion route for off network closure of Knockhundred Lane for Hampshire County Council.
• A3, from 8pm June 9 to 6am June 10, causing slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Thursley to Hindhead, Lane closures for resurfacing.
• A3, from 8pm May 31 to 6am June 1, causing slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Ham Barn, Lane closures and diversion for barrier repairs, closure on local authority network.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
