Waverley's motorists will have seven road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And three of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

A3, from 9pm June 7 to 6am September 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for electrical work.

A3, from 8pm June 28 to 6am October 3, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 northbound, Hazel Grove to Thursley, carriageway and lane closures for communications work.

And a further five closures will begin over the next two weeks:

A3, from 8.30pm August 6 to 6am August 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Compton to Thursley, Lane closures for barrier work.

A3, from 9pm August 10 to 6am August 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Thursley, slip road and lane closures for maintenance work.

A3, from 8pm August 12 to 6am August 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 both directions Longmoor to Hazel Grove, carriageway closures for tunnel maintenance.

A3, from 8pm August 19 to 6am August 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound and southbound, Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for tunnel maintenance, diversion via Highways England network.

M3, from 9pm August 19 to 6am August 22, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M3 Both directions, junction 5 to 4a, carriageway closure for Welcome Break Services.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
