Petersfield Town’s ladies’ team were in seventh heaven after thrashing Gosport Falcons Lionesses 7-2 at Love Lane on Sunday afternoon.
Katie Nolan (5), Emily White and Megan Oliver scored the home side’s goals as the Rams ran riot.
Sunday’s comprehensive victory leaves the team – who were only formed this season – in fourth place in Division Six of the Hampshire County Women’s Football League.
Petersfield have picked up six points from their first four league games this season after picking up two wins and two defeats.
The ladies lost their first two league games before beating Romsey 9-3 and then beating Gosport.
