Farnham Town manager Paul Johnson was delighted with his side after they secured the Isthmian League South Central Division title.
Town sealed the title with a 6-0 win against Rayners Lane.
“It was a great way to wrap it up and win it,” said Johnson.
“The boys have been excellent from the start of the season and we've just been too good.
“It was a perfect way to seal it – and it was a great turnout for a midweek.
“It was a scrappy first half with not much quality in the half barring the goal, but the boys turned it on in the second half.
“Whether the occasion got to them a little bit in the first half, I don’t know.
“I told the boys to put a show on in the second half and they fully delivered.
“The substitutes came on and delivered.
“The link up play between Sam Evans, Darryl Sanders and Sam De St Croix was excellent.
“Adam Liddle worked tirelessly and there were some good goals.
“They all looked lively up there. It was a joy to watch the second half and we got it done, so I’m buzzing.
“They all know their role in the squad – it's a squad game, there's no favourites and they all do it when they come on. I'm proud of them all.
“These boys are ready for Step 3 but we've still got ambitions this year.
“We've won the title but we want 100 points and we want to try to get as close as we can to 100-plus goal difference.
“We want to make this last month of the season a really memorable one.
“There were great scenes towards the final whistle with the flares and the players.
“It's a shame it was a Tuesday night but we've got five weeks left together and five Saturdays of celebration.”
