Petersfield Golf Club’s ladies won the Winter Triple Competition for the third year running after the final match was held at Blackmoor Golf Club.
After the first two legs at Petersfield in November and at Rowlands Castle last month, Petersfield were leading by 14 points before the final match.
Despite Blackmoor winning the leg with 107 points, Petersfield were only six points behind and had done enough to secure the overall victory with a cumulative score of 270 after the three legs.
Blackmoor were second with 262 points and Rowlands Castle third with 247 points. Blackmoor’s team captain Lesley Roberts presented Petersfield’s Winter Triple captain Jennifer Neal with the trophy afterwards.
Neal said: “I thank my amazing team for their help and support. It has been a huge pleasure and honour to captain the team.”
