Petersfield’s under-14 boys produced a fine performance to beat Southampton 4-1 at Bedales.

Southampton took the lead with a breakaway goal, but the hosts equalised when Matthew R finished at the second attempt after a good initial save from the Southampton goalkeeper.

Matthew R scored two more goals to complete his hat-trick, and Joe P completed the scoring when he dinked a shot into the bottom right-hand corner.
