A MASTERPLAN for a major residential development is up for public consultation.
The plan proposes 1,800 new homes at Dunsfold Park – with up to 2,600 houses allocated in Waverley Borough Council’s Local Plan.
Waverley planners granted outline consent for the scheme in 2016 and successfully saw off proposed eco-settlement granted outline consent that successfully saw off a High Court challenge in 2018.
In June, the proposed eco-sttlement was one of 19 nationally awarded Garden Village status by the government and will benefit from £150,000 to ensure it is an environmental exemplar development.
Waverley’s joint planning committee has approved two schemes to boost the masterplan – the relocation of Gordon Murray Designs with 500 jobs and a new access road to serve both the business park and the new settlement.
The consultation is open from November 13 to November 19, with details found at www.dunsfoldpark.com
