The team at Redcot residential care home in Haslemere, will be providing a breakfast club to say thank you to the town’s emergency services.

The home is run by charity Friends of the Elderly, who will launch the Blue Light Breakfast Club on Friday, June 12 from 9am to 11am.

Guests will be able to choose from a wide selection of tasty options to either eat-in or take away. Including breakfast rolls, pastries and warm beverages – and even enjoy a full English Breakfast.

Redcot’s registered manager Jan Daly said: “We wanted to show our appreciation to all our local emergency services, NHS workers and Blue Light Card holders for all their untiring support, thoughtfulness and dedication they give to our community and care home.

“We thought that by hosting a regular Blue Light Breakfast Club it would be lovely way to give something back to everyone in the emergency services who support our community in so many ways each and every day.”

The club will be open to all emergency workers including paramedics, the Police, firefighters, NHS employees, community district nurses, key workers, community health workers, blood bike drivers, doctors – and anyone who holds a Blue Light Card.

All guests should be in uniform or have evidence they work for the NHS or emergency services, or produce their Blue Light Card.

Upcoming dates for summer are Friday, July 19 and Friday, August 16 and dates for the rest of the year will be advertised in due course.
