Plans to expand Bordon Infant and Junior schools have been submitted by Hampshire County Council.
The development includes a single-storey extension, an artificial pitch, car park alterations and landscaping changes.
Pupil capacity at the infant school would rise by 90 to 270, and at the junior school it would increase by 120 to 260.
The infants would get three more classrooms, a new entrance with toilets for staff and visitors, a bigger kitchen and a covered corridor to link the infants’ building and the infants’ log cabin.
The junior school would have four extra classrooms, an artificial pitch, and more parking for cars, bikes and scooters,
Entrances would not change but the south-eastern boundary would be realigned to provide a wider footpath in front of the juniors.
