A white van man from Farnham has been banned from getting behind the wheel for 18 months after admitting drink-driving.

Peter Zajdek, 56, of East Street, was almost twice the legal limit when he was caught driving a Nissan Primastar van in Dogflud Way, Farnham, on July 14.

As well as a disqualification, Guildford Magistrates’ Court also slapped him with a £500 fine, £200 surcharge and £85 costs on August 21.
