HASLEMERE student Rebecca Pennant, a pupil at Bohunt School, will be entertaining tens of thousands of people up and down the country as part of the 20-strong West End Kids song and dance troupe.

Now in its 18th year, West End Kids is an elite musical theatre song and dance troupe based in central London.

Rebecca and the troupe have already performed at the Chelsea Flower Show, Geronimo North Festival, Trafford Centre and will also be at London Pride, British Summertime Festival and Camp Bestival.

Rebecca said: “I am looking forward most to performing at the British Summertime Festival in Hyde Park.

“BST Hyde Park is a music festival held over two weekends and over 450,000 people attended the event last year.

“I can’t wait to perform with my best friends on the same stage that will this year be headlined by Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand and Stevie Wonder.

“It feels so surreal.”
