Bill Rawles, sponsor of Home-Start Winchester’s annual fundraising barn dance at Pinglestone Barn in Old Alresford, delivered his sponsorship pledge to charity patron Sally Stewart’s farm door in his 1961 Austin Healey 3000 Mk 1.

The event is on July 1 at 7pm.  The Craigievar Ceilidh Band will supply the music in the 15th-century barn belonging to Lord and Lady Wakeham and there will be a hog roast from Soles Butchers of Alresford plus home-made salads and desserts.

Home-Start helps families with issues including mental health problems, domestic violence, loneliness, disability and multiple births.
