A COMMUNITY dietitian will talk to a Petersfield audience about ultra-processed foods during an open meeting next Wednesday.
A recent Panorama episode raised concerns about the long-term effects of UPFs and possible links to obesity and a variety of illnesses.
Portsmouth Hospitals NHS worker Karen Lee will lead the discussion at One Tree Books as the diabetics dietitian has an interest in the subject.
The 55-minute meeting will begin at 1.30pm and is open to all but booking is recommended through [email protected] as space is limited.
The event is the latest in a series of meetings organised by Philip Selby on behalf of the Lib Dems but the talks are strictly non-political and open to everyone.
It will also be the last meeting of this kind before Christmas.
