A stylish new cake shop, Petite Patisserie, will open its doors to the public in Farnham town centre on Saturday.
Leyre Pedrazuela, a former contestant on Bake Off: The Professionals, and The Bush Hotel have collaborated to create a unique experience in Farnham.
Town mayor Alan Earwaker will cut the ribbon to open the patisserie on Saturday morning.
Petite Patisserie is located at the entrance to The Bush courtyard, off The Borough.
Sous chef Leyre was previously the executive pastry chef at the five-star Shangri-La hotel in London.
She said: “We want everyone to be able to enjoy the beauty of our desserts at home with family, at work with colleagues or in any celebration with the people you love the most.
“And our products are just the right size so that you can try more than one – and all at an accessible price.”
Petite offers a range of eight artisan handcrafted delights and more treats, with many locally sourced high-quality ingredients.
People can enjoy tea or coffee as well as other beverages hot or cold.
The team aims to offer new cakes on a seasonal rotation, share boxes can be ordered to collect, and they hope to in future deliver boxes for gifts and special events.
Leyre and the team can also create bespoke cakes and sweet treats for weddings and other events.
John Chesterman, co-owner of the Bush Hotel, said: “The products that she creates not only look and taste incredible, but people can be assured that she has sourced the highest quality and most natural ingredients available.”
Leyre and the team share their experience and knowledge through a massive open kitchen where you can watch the team at work and they will be hosting masterclasses for people to get hands-on in future.
Petite Patisserie is open from Wednesday to Sunday.
