At this year’s South Downs Show there was a new treat in store for dog owners and their four-legged companions.

A dedicated dog zone full of dog themed stalls and charities selling treats, accessories, leads and collars, photography sessions and more.

The zone even had its own special arena where support dog demonstrations were held, talks, live grooming, tricks and competitions. 

There were also the usual arena acts such as Gun dogs, little nippers, the dog and duck show and best in show contest.

The Petersfield Post spoke to some of the canine charities in the new dog zone to find out more about what they do.
