Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary and vehicle theft in Liphook. The incident occurred between 5.30am and 6am on Monday, August 26, at a home on Ontario Way. A rear window was broken to gain entry, and car keys were stolen, leading to the theft of a black BMW X1.

The vehicle was later involved in a collision and abandoned on Haslemere Road.

A 25-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man, both from Liphook, have been arrested on suspicion of burglary but released under investigation.

Police want to hear from anyone who witnessed the burglary, theft of vehicle or the subsequent collision. Anyone with information or footage, such as dash cam or CCTV, is urged to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 44240365807.
