Farnham Town have confirmed that club director Harry Hugo has assumed the role of club chairman.
Kelsing said: “We held a directors’ meeting and I decided the time was right for me to stand down as chairman of the board of directors.
“Following this, we held a vote and all voted in favour of Harry taking up this position, which he accepted.
“If the club wants to continue its great progress, the person at the top must be the driving force who we all get behind.
“Personal circumstances with work commitments as well as becoming a new dad mean I have really struggled to give the club the appropriate time and do what is expected of me in this role for the past year.
“I look forward to Harry taking this on moving forward, and I will get fully behind him and support him where I can.”
Kelsing will remain a director of Farnham Town along with Paul Tanner and Dean Nelson.
Hugo said: “I’d like to thank Ed for his service to the club as chairman, as he’s been instrumental in accelerating the growth of Farnham Town along with Paul, Dean, the wider committee group and our essential volunteers who are the lifeblood of the club.
“The past two-and-a-half-years at Farnham Town have been some of the most rewarding experiences of my entire life.
“As chairman, I hope that, with the support of everyone involved at the club, we can continue to push Farnham Town forward as a club, continue to innovate and break barriers for what’s possible in non-league football, and give the town a club they can be proud of.”
