Highfield and Brookham School, a leading progressive independent school in Liphook, has announced an exciting opportunity for Year 5 pupils. The school has introduced a new scholarship that reaffirms its dedication to educational excellence. This all-rounder scholarship, available from September 2025, aims to recognise exceptional children with a positive attitude towards learning and outstanding abilities both in and out of the classroom.

The scholarship offers a foundation for students before they embark on their senior school applications. Year 5 scholars will also have the chance to acclimatise to the school environment for a year, becoming familiar with the curriculum, teaching methods, and culture at Highfield and Brookham. New and current students are invited to apply for the Year 5 scholarship for September 2025.

Suzannah Cryer, Head of Highfield and Brookham, said: “Our holistic approach allows scholarship recipients to explore a diverse range of subjects and activities, discovering their true passions and strengths, allowing them to evolve over time. This not only supports their academic growth but also fosters the development of essential skills, such as problem-solving, creativity, and adaptability.

“We are looking for children who show strong academic performance and have a good track record of high achievement in the classroom. We understand each applicant is unique, and we welcome children from diverse backgrounds and experiences. What we’re looking for is the potential to thrive in our dynamic, supportive environment and make a meaningful contribution to our school community.”

Applications are open until October, 13 2024. To apply, visit highfieldandbrookham.co.uk/admissions/year-5-scholarships.
